Alumni Advisory Board

The Alumni Advisory Board is comprised of former active members of Eta Delta who provide support and assistance to the Chapter. That support is realized through mentoring of the collegiate membership, financial assistance for the Chapter, communication between the Chapter and other alumni, and through attendance and participation at Chapter functions, when possible or necessary.

At present, one of the Board’s top priorities is to organize the Chapter’s 50th Anniversary at West Texas A&M University. That gala event is April 24-26, and you can find out more about it or register to attend by clicking here.

The Alumni Advisory Board meets periodically to assess the needs of the Chapter, particularly those associated with the Chapter house. The Board serves as landlord of the property, renting rooms to actives and paying the ever-increasing property taxes and insurance. While day-to-day maintenance of the house is the responsibility of the active Chapter, major renovations and improvements fall to the Advisory Board, which funds projects from contributions made through monthly bank drafts by generous and committed alumni.

Presently, the Advisory Board receives monthly commitments ranging between $20 and $200 from 13 of our alumni. Recent projects funded through this income include pouring a new concrete patio and driveway, new fencing, renovation of the front porch, including new front steps, replacement of some appliances and an exterior paint job.
