Welcome to the website of the Eta Delta Chapter of Sigma Nu, a men's social/service fraternity at West Texas A&M University.
Eta Delta was founded in 1959 at what then was known as West Texas State
University. Since then, the brothers of Eta Delta have embraced the values
of Love, Truth and Honor in their everyday lives, values that were set
forth by the founders of the first Sigma Nu chapter in post-Civil War Virginia. Those founders James Frank Hopkins, Greenfield Quarles and James McIlvaine Riley vowed that Sigma Nu would forever be committed to a
policy that opposed hazing.
That anti-hazing commitment has never wavered, which is one reason why the
fraternity has grown to include 275 chapters across the United States and
Canada.
